Injection mold chillers
An injection mold chiller is a machine to cool down the mold after injection of your parts :
In addition to removing the heat from the plastic mold by adding cool canals in the mold, chillers can be used to transfer heat away from the mold thermolator or a hydraulic heat exchanger, and the feed throat of the injection molding machine.
While there are other heat removal devices such as a cooling tower, well or city water, chillers offer some distinct advantages for your injection molding company.
There are two main reasons for using a chiller for the injection mold cooling process.
1. protecting your equipment and to increase production: maintaining a constant and proper cooling temperature in your process equipment will increase the number of parts produced per hour, and a significant reduction in the number of defective parts.
2. Less Scrap: a consistent and reliable supply of the proper temperature to the process , means less scrap.

When opting for a chiller donnot buy the cheapest one, Such as choosing the right mold company , a low price is often a compromise on reliability and quality. Low cost injection molding equipment may appear cheaper, nicely designed, but most are not built to last, are unreliable, easily damaged, and hard to fix
Injection mold cooling :
we discussed here-above mold chillers, but why is cooling so important? Cooling start at the end of the injection molding stage: and it is because it is usally 90-9r % of the total injection time. It is the largest chunk of the total injection mold cylce: SO saving cooling time means saving injection time , meaning saving money!
